/ˈmɔːn.stə.rə/(“morn-ster-uh”)
From monstera + mourn. A personal name blending grief and growth.
About
This is very much a personal project, archiving and going back to owning my own content.
It's me learning with tranparency - around my workflow, projects and explorations.
Design
I use the Inter font for text and Fira Mono for monospace. My love for Inter
has never faded, but I will eventually be bolder and find something more fun. Icons are mostly
from Lucide Icons, while footer links use Tabler Icons.
Build
This site is built with Astro and served entirely as static files from Cloudflare. I use
Git for version control, and everything is hosted on GitHub. Fonts, icons, and other
assets are used under their respective licenses, and specific credits are listed in the
credits section below.
Policy
I do not track any personal data, there are no cookies, and the only analytics come from
Cloudflare's basic traffic metrics. Mournstera.me will aim for AA accessibility
standards, however this site went live in January 2026 and is of course a work in
progress — I'll continue improving as I learn. Feel free to drop me a line!

The idea of treating this site as a digital garden is inspired by
Maggie Appleton(opens in a new tab)’s work on
knowledge gardening and personal websites.
